As I thought initially, Radview has finally removed their forum from www.webload.org. Just because webload has closed their forum, they can't stop the community. So I am planning to kick start the blog to help webload community. Also i have started the webload group. Details are given below.

ReplyDeleteRecent time, I've tried to build WebLOAD opensource by following the build-procedure which is enclosed in Core Engine, but it seems not make sense much. Build process got failed even the prerequisite and third party tools are as requested.
The problem is the .bat files are not mapped with the folder structure, so that many of libarries have not been copied or extracted to the proper destination folder when processing.
I wondered whether I've missed some of understanding about build process? All I have now is the guide in the Core Engine.
Any one experience on this, please comment and advise something?

Our organization just installed WebLoad Professional. Yesterday accomplished first login agenda. Today I'll build upon this. Haven't done anything with the console yet. Just learning. I'm an x programmer just learning javascript.

Whe creating login scripts and web search functions, should a "test" user login and password need to be created for each virtual user? I'm using WebLOAD professional. In the tutorial there is a global input file created with three user name and password. When the load was eventually run, the ending virtual users were 100. Does this simulate real life?

ReplyDeleteIn real life, every user will have different usernames & password(atleast in most cases). If same is the case for you, you need to create as many user that you want to simulate.

I am testing a web applican that has hidden elements. While I can see them in the DOM view, I cannot seem to locate the corresponding javascript code in the execution or agenda tree. Could this be imbedded in a URL that I might have to parse out?

I read Webload announced end of life, but can I start using now? Is Webload suitable for the above applications.

Right now, I'm writing a script from scratch, as it's not possible to record the HTML traffic (they are using an Excel add-in that sits on HTTP, but it's not browser-resident).

Iam using webload for Php application testing. Once i record the scenario and run the recorded scenario in webloadconsole, its shows the result in spread view sheet, expect 'Total round time current slice Average (current value)'. This coloumn is blank. pls help

but i dont understand where the sessionID is passed?

ReplyDeleteI am new to Webload. We have existing scripts in my organization to test the performance of application. Now I am trying to run the scripts getting this error message.
“Message: Com error occurred while calling function Open, Reason : Exception occurred. Exception Source : ADODB.Connection Exception Description : Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed.”
I gone through the error in google I find this information verify whether the “msjet40.dll” file is there or not. I have this file in my local.
Is there any configuration need to do to run the script? Please any one guide me.

My Problem is now we are planning to use webload 8.4 with same 5.0 scripts.In Browser Playback,its working fine.but when we are execute the test in webload 8.5 console,the run is not started but only load size line displayed in graph.so please do the needful if you have any idea
Please consider using probing client to get response time. If you don't have probing client license or enough machine to run the probing client, you have following options

Pls suggest some other options.
One more thing,is webload 8.4 and 8.1 is stable version compared to webload 5.0?
Webload 5 is the stable version among the list that you have provided(atleast as far as i know). Regarding high response time, only Radview can fix this. We have no other but to rely on them for solution. There are couple of options in front of us.
